The "short name" is really just the name, used to look it up. The "name" is really a description intended solely for human consumption. Rename the fields, and the functions that access them, to match. The "description" maintained by Lua for file type handlers is used *only* for one debugging message; we should probably just eliminate it. Call it an "internal description" for now. |

Handling security fixes in source package wireshark Wireshark is a network protocol analyzer and it's ability to perform deep packet inspection in live traffic may encourage users to use Wireshark/Tshark as a part of an intrusion detection or traffic monitoring system. In that case, please note that Wireshark/Tshark may contain remotely triggerable bugs causing crashes or allowing code injection.
