Install documentation to DOCDIR instead of DATADIR.
The code must be fixed to open the Help URLs from
this new path.
This only affects Unix-like FHS platforms. Windows
installation does its own thing.
Needs testing with macOS packaging.
That reduces the number of get_progfile_dir() calls, leaving only the
calls that are done either to 1) get the pathname in order to display it
or 2) get the pathname in order to reset the library path.
That makes it easier to figure out which get_progfile_dir() calls are
made to find the directory in which (non-extcap) binaries from Wireshark
are installed and which - if any - are made to figure out the directory
in which *the currently-running executable* are stored. (Currently,
get_progfile_dir() attemps to get the former, not the latter, so
extcaps in an extcap subdirectory, for example, will get the parent
directory of that subdirectory, *not* the directory in which they weere
installed.)
If our program file directory has a trailing "/extcap" or "\extcap",
trim it off. This should let extcaps determine the proper data file and
plugin directories. Fixes#15592.
Add and install default coloring rules and filter buttons for Logray.
Add is_packet_configuration_namespace() and use it to set the default
timestamp type for Logray to "Absolute", which is more appropriate for
log entries.
Switch to the name "Logray" for the log analyzer. Rays are biological
cousins of sharks and more people like the name "Logray" in a completely
unscientific survey here. Apologies for any inconvenience this might
cause.
Add get_configuration_namespace() and use it in code that writes
"generated by" comments at the top of various configuration files.
Update our Logwolf colorfilters.
Rename init_progfile_dir to configuration_init. Add an argument which
specifies our configuration namespace, which can be "Wireshark"
(default) or "Logwolf".
Profile files which is only used in Qt is not automatically registered
during startup and must be explicit registered.
Add profile_register_persconffile() to handle this registration.
Add a generic function to write content to file. Use this on write
TLS session keys from UI and tshark, and for export objects.
Remove the now unused export_object_ui.[ch].
This reverts commit f1285fcf06.

On Windows, fstat() and stat() sets st_dev to different value depending
on whether it was called with file handle or file path. If file handle
was used, the st_dev is simply the file handle casted to unsigned.
If file path was used, then st_dev corresponds to drive letter
(A=0, B=1, C=2, ...).
Compare the files using the file index information retrieved by
GetFileInformationByHandle(). When compiled in configuration that
supports FILE_ID_INFO, the code first tries to obtain 128-bit FILE_ID_INFO
and if that fails, fallback to GetFileInformationByHandle().

Extcap is a plugin interface, which allows for the usage
of external capture interfaces via pipes using a predefined
configuration language which results in a graphical gui.
This implementation seeks for a generic implementation,
which results in a seamless integration with the current
system, and does add all external interfaces as simple
interfaces.
Windows Note: Due to limitations with GTK and Windows,
a gspawn-winXX-helper.exe, respective gspawn-winXX-helper-console.exe
is needed, which is part of any GTK windows installation.
The default installation directory from the build is an extcap
subdirectory underneath the run directory. The folder used by
extcap may be viewed in the folders tab of the about dialog.
The default installation directory for extcap plugins with
a pre-build or installer version of wireshark is the extcap
subdirectory underneath the main wireshark directory.
