Description:

|
|
|
WANPIPE Backup Daemon utility is used to monitor the Primary PPP HIGH
|
|
speed link. If the Primary link goes down for any reason, the
|
|
wpbackupd will establish a dialup connection using the PPPD daemon.
|
|
|
|
At the same time the primary link will continue to be monitored
|
|
by wpbackupd for signs of life. If the PPP protocol is detected on
|
|
the primary link, the dialup connection will be terminated and the
|
|
Primary High speed connection will be re-established.
|
|
|
|
|
