In general, premature scheduling of to be transmitted bursts inevitably increases the time delay between Uplink and Downlink. The more we advance TDMA frame number, the greater gets this delay. 20 TDMA frames is definitely more than a regular transceiver needs to pre-process a burst before transmission.
