When running the profiles dialog from the main status bar,
some objects appear to be not cleaned up properly with Qt 6.
This will circumvent this, by creating an object for the
dialog and cleaning it on closing.
Fixes#18525
1) In English-language menus, menu item text should use title case, with
most words capitalized. (I leave it to the Transifexors to capitalize
appropriately for other languages.)
2) Menu items that pop up dialogs should have "..." at the end of the
text.
There is no need for nesting event loops when showing menus. Show menus
asynchronously to limit possibilities of hard to debug problems related
to re-entering event loop.
Move WiresharkApplication.{cpp,h} to MainApplication.{cpp,h}. Add back
WiresharkApplication as a thin superclass of MainApplication, similar to
LogsharkApplication. Change all of our wsApp references to mainApp. We
will likely have to change many or most of them back, but that's a
commit for another time.
Remove the editor modeline blocks from most of the source files in ui/qt
by running
perl -i -p0e 's{ \n+ /[ *\n]+ editor \s+ modelines .* shiftwidth= .* \*/ \s+ } {\n}gsix' $( ag -g '\.(cpp|h)' )
then cleaning up the remaining files by hand.
This *shouldn't* affect anyone since
- All of the source files in ui/qt use 4 space indentation, which
matches the default in our top-level .editorconfig
- The one notable editor that's likely to be used on these files and
*doesn't* support EditorConfig (Qt Creator) defaults to 4 space
indentation.
Increase the minimum required version of Qt from 5.3 to 5.6. The various
Linux distribution versions that shipped with earlier Qt versions (RHEL
6, Fedora 23, openSUSE 13.2, Debian jessie, Ubuntu 16.04) have either
reached end of support or will do so soon.
The official Qt 5.6 releases for macOS require 10.8, so make that the
minimum macOS version.
Remove a bunch of no-longer-needed version checks.
Run

in ui/qt. As discussed in #16812, the UTF8_ macros were required at one
time because we only allowed ASCII in our source code. However, that
requirement has since been relaxed and Qt's translation framework
doesn't handle concatenating strings and macros very well.
An ampersand in the menu item text is used as shortcut, so use "&&" to
get a real ampersand.

This implements multi-selection for the PacketList. It
allows multiple lines to be selected, and either drag/drop
them to a text editor or use Ctrl/Cmd+C to copy the content
to a clipboard.
Opening the context menu disables the selection, and it
does not change the underlying currently selection. This is
done on purpose, as multi-selection is a copy-task only
functionality at this point
Export & Print work as expected, exporting just the selected
items. Same goes for the copy menu, which has the additional
entries for copying the list elements

Currently push pop is propagated by a massive load of signals
which partly are also propagated through parent objects.
This moves the status handling to WiresharkApplication, also
pathlining future moves to move status to different classes or
use additional methods of status information

This patchset ensures a 1:1 replacement of the old 3.0 version of the profiles
dialog. It is a major bugfix for the new version in case of handling creating/
deleting and adding profiles.
Delete can be performed on multiple profiles now, by selecting the profiles
which need to be deleted.
Import/Export functionality has been overhauled to follow these rules:
* No imports while changes are pending, due to datamodel sanity
* Export for Default Profile and Global Profiles is not possible
* Either all personal profiles can be selected or individually choosen ones
* Use last directory and store it properly
* Imports can be cancelled
* Only one import is allowed at a time (but it can contain as many profiles as needed)

- Fixing the fact, that the profile did not allways switch to the active profile
when pressing the OK button.
- Adding a new profile can be repeated, if the name "New Profile" is already in
use, a number is incremented and added to subsequently new profiles.
- Copying a profile multiple times, creates individual names each time
- Global profiles should come last in the statusbar popup
- Global profiles should be called "System profiles"
- Fix null-pointer that could happen while querying "DATA_IS_SELECTED"
- Renaming an existing profile was not correctly indicated
- Renaming the currently selected profile works now

Ensure that frameSelected(0) is emitted when not having a proto tree
field selected because of:
1. No match when trying to restore selected field
2. Search selects a packet with no field to select
3. Current packet is deselected
This will disable functionality which requires a selected field
and updates the status bar according to selected field.

This is in preparation to make it easier for other classes
to get the right signals from the capture file. Also the decision
on what signals to listen to now resides with the final classes,
not main window, and it no longer needs to be changed if the
statusbar or wsapp needs additional signals.

Have cfile-int.h declare the structure, and use it in files that
directly access the structure.
Have cfile.h just incompletely declare the structure and include it
rather than explicitly declaring it in source files or other header
files.
Never directly refer to struct _capture_file except when typedeffing
capture_file.
Add #includes as necessary, now that cfile.h doesn't drag in a ton of

In order to consolidate the interfaces between certain parts of the UI,
the signal emitted after a frame change has occured, has to include the
number of the frame. This led to two signals for frame change, and therefore
packetSelection is to be removed.

The information about the selected packet number is available from
the Number column and from the Frame entry in the Packet Details
so make the entry in the status bar optional.
Also remove duplicate "Packet:" entry, add the UTF8_MIDDLE_DOT
separator and rename the prefix to "Selected Packet:".
