Gerald Combs d3f17ee08a Remove modelines in ui/qt.
Remove the editor modeline blocks from most of the source files in ui/qt
by running

    perl -i -p0e 's{ \n+ /[ *\n]+ editor \s+ modelines .* shiftwidth= .* \*/ \s+ } {\n}gsix' $( ag -g '\.(cpp|h)' )

then cleaning up the remaining files by hand.

This *shouldn't* affect anyone since

- All of the source files in ui/qt use 4 space indentation, which
matches the default in our top-level .editorconfig

- The one notable editor that's likely to be used on these files and
*doesn't* support EditorConfig (Qt Creator) defaults to 4 space
  indentation.

Tomasz Moń c129c28d3a Qt: Allow creating new files in extcap fileselect
If mustexist property is absent or set to false, allow the user to
specify the filename.

Add Clear button next to file selection. Previously cancelling file
selection when mustexist was false would clear the entry. However,
if mustexist was true, there was no easy way to clear the entry.

Roland Knall 6124ee2a1c extcap: Reload values on request
Allow certaing elements to be reloaded upon request. The way
this works is, certain elements can be configured to be reloadable.

By doing so, the extcap is asked once more just for the values
list of this item, together with all already set options, and
reloads the available options depending on the response.

Only supported for selector. Radio and Multiselect will need
additional patches, also moving those parts outside of extcap_argument.cpp
might make sense before hand.

Peter Wu 583150198b extcap: fix use-after-free for preferences
In commit v2.3.0rc0-117-g485bc45 (backported to v2.2.0rc0-44-g66721ca),
extcap_prefs_dynamic_vals and extcap_cleanup were added in an attempt to
address dangling pointers.

Unfortunately it is not sufficient:

 - A pointer to the preference value is stored in extcap_arg and passed
to the prefs API, but this extcap_arg structure can become invalid
which result in use-after-free whenever the preference is accessed.
 - On exit, a use-after-free occurs in prefs_cleanup when the preference
   value is being checked.

As the preference subsystem actually manages the memory for the string
value and consumers should only provide a pointer where the value can be
stored, convert the char* field in extcap to char**. This has as
additional benefit that values are not limited to 256 bytes anymore.

extcap_cleanup is moved after epan_cleanup to ensure that prefs_cleanup
does not operate on dangling pointers.

Crash is reproducible under ASAN with: tshark -i randpkt

Roland Knall cfd5457ec0 extcap: Add regular expression validation support
Regular expressions follow the Qt Regex syntax, which is
formulated after the Perl Regex syntax. A more detailed
overview of the possible rules can be found at:
 http://doc.qt.io/qt-4.8/qregexp.html

If a required option is present, even the double-click on
the interface will first start the options dialog (Qt only)

Required fields are marked bold and put first in the dialog.
Additionally if validation failes (which it will if a required
field is kept empty, but also if a non-required textfield is
violating the defined regex), the label of the field is marked
 with red.

An option may now use the "required=true" argument (see sshdump.c)
which will ensure, that the capture can only be started via the
dialog, if the option has been provided. To ensure, that this is
working properly, multiselect has been moved to a separate source
 file.

Renamed one method so it may not interfere with a future save
functionality, and cleaned up the interface to use only default
 buttons and roles

ONLY the Qt interface is being supported.

Gerald Combs d8d3c52f1e Use an ellipsis character instead of three dots.
The OS X Human Interface Guidelines at

https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/documentation/UserExperience/Conceptual/OSXHIGuidelines/TerminologyWording.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/20000957-CH15-SW3

says:

"Be sure to create the ellipsis character using the key combination
Option-; (Option-semicolon). This ensures that an assistive app can
provide the correct interpretation of the character to a disabled user.
If you use three period characters to simulate an ellipsis, many
assistive apps will be unable to make sense of them. Also, three period
characters and an ellipsis don't look the same because the periods are
spaced differently than the points of an ellipsis."

The Windows desktop applications guidelines has a section on ellipses:

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/dn742478.aspx

but doesn't specify the a single glyph vs three dots.

The GNOME HIG at

https://developer.gnome.org/hig/stable/typography.html.en

says "Take Advantage of Unicode" then specifically says to use U+2026
HORIZONTAL ELLIPSIS.

Remove the ellipsis from "Find Next" and "Find Previous". Neither
requires user interaction.
