osmo-v5¶

osmo-v5 is our open source implementation of the ITU-T V5_Interface and its related protocol stack. Specifically, we implement the LE (Local Exchange) side, so we can talk to existing 3rd-party V5 Access Networks (AN) such as Nokia_EKSOS.

Installation¶

Source code¶

The source code can be found at https://gitea.osmocom.org/retronetworking/osmo-v5. It can be cloned from there.

The build process uses the usual autotools sequence of commands: autoreconf -fi && ./configure && make

Before the build, you will need to install the dependencies, specifically libosmocore and libosmo-abis

Binary packages¶

There are currently no plans to provide binary packages (like dpkg/rpm packages), sorry.
