Lee Jones 3510ec6723 ARM: ux500: remove intermediary add_platform_device* functions
These are no longer required since a 'parent' pointer is now
passed to each registering device.

Lee Jones b024a0c804 ARM: ux500: move top level platform devices in sysfs to /sys/devices/socX
At the request of Arnd Bergmann this patch moves all SoC
platform devices found in sysfs from /sys/devices/platform to
/sys/devices/soc<SoCNum>/. It is believed as the devices are
SoC specific and a /sys/devices/soc node has recently
become available, that this would be a more appropriate place to
display the data.

Lee Jones eda413c228 ARM: ux500: export System-on-Chip information ux500 via sysfs
Here we make use of the new System-On-Chip bus driver to export
vital SoC information out to userspace via sysfs. This patch
provides a data structure of strings to populate the base
nodes found in:

/sys/devices/soc[0|1|2|...]/[family|machine|revision|soc_id].

It also adds one more node as requested by ST-Ericsson.
'process' depicts the way in which the silicon was manufactured.

Lee Jones 18403424c4 ARM: ux500: pass parent pointer to each platform device
This patch provides a means for any device within ux500
platform code to allocate its own parent. This is particularly
prudent with the introduction of /sys/devices/socX, as a
device can now proclaim to be integral part of an SoC, rather
than a more generic platform device. Latter patches make good
use of this functionality.

Will Deacon eb50439b92 ARM: 7293/1: logical_cpu_map: decouple CPU mapping from SMP
It turns out that the logical CPU mapping is useful even when !CONFIG_SMP
for manipulation of devices like interrupt and power controllers when
running a UP kernel on a CPU other than 0. This can happen when kexecing
a UP image from an SMP kernel.

In the future, multi-cluster systems running AMP configurations will
require something similar for mapping cluster IDs, so it makes sense to
decouple this logic in preparation for this support.

Ulf Hansson bc521818e2 ARM: 7219/1: mmc: mmci: Change vdd_handler to a generic ios_handler
The purpose of the vdd_handler does not make sense. We remove it
and use a generic approach instead. A new ios_handler is added, the
purpose of which e.g. can be to control GPIO pins to a levelshifter.

Previously the vdd_handler was also used for making additional
changes to the power register bits. This option is superfluous and is
therefore removed.

Adaptaptions from the old vdd_handler to the new ios_handler is done for
mach-ux500 board, which was the only one using the vdd_handler.

This patch is based upon a patch from Sebastian Rasmussen.

Nicolas Pitre 639da5ee37 ARM: add an extra temp register to the low level debugging addruart macro
Some platforms (like OMAP not to name it) are doing rather complicated
hacks just to determine the base UART address to use. Let's give their
addruart macro some slack by providing an extra work register which will
allow for much needed cleanups.

This is basically a no-op as this commit is only adding the extra argument
to the macro but no one is using it yet.

Linus Walleij 1bf6d2c1bb ARM: mach-ux500: unlock I&D l2x0 caches before init
Apparently U8500 U-Boot versions may leave the l2x0 locked down
before executing the kernel. Make sure we unlock it before we
initialize the l2x0. This fixes a performance problem reported
by Jan Rinze.

The l2x0 core has been modified to unlock the l2x0 by default,
but it will not touch the locking registers if the l2x0 was
already enabled, as on the ux500, so we need this quirk to
make sure it is properly turned off.

Kyungmin Park aa3831cf9d ARM: Consolidate the clkdev header files
Now most of ARM machines has the alsmot same __clk_get/put() macro

So place it at the arch/arm/include/asm/clkdev.h and remove the reduntant header files

But some machines don't have the same form as above. It can use the machince specific clkdev file by HAVE_MACH_CLKDEV config

Now there are only 3 caese.

1) define the clk structure with clkdev macro => Need to move clk structure to proper header file

arch/arm/mach-versatile/include/mach/clkdev.h
arch/arm/mach-realview/include/mach/clkdev.h
arch/arm/mach-vexpress/include/mach/clkdev.h
arch/arm/mach-integrator/include/mach/clkdev.h

3) demuxing the clk source

Stephen Boyd 7fa22bd546 ARM: 6993/1: platsmp: Allow secondary cpu hotplug with maxcpus=1
If an ARM system has multiple cpus in the same socket and the
kernel is booted with maxcpus=1, secondary cpus are possible but
not present due to how platform_smp_prepare_cpus() is called.
Since most typical ARM processors don't actually support physical
hotplug, initialize the present map to be equal to the possible
map in generic ARM SMP code. Also, always call
platform_smp_prepare_cpus() as long as max_cpus is non-zero (0
means no SMP) to allow platform code to do any SMP setup.

After applying this patch it's possible to boot an ARM system
with maxcpus=1 on the command line and then hotplug in secondary
cpus via sysfs. This is more in line with how x86 does things.
