Khem Raj afbc8d8e72 Fix conditional export of kvh.h and a.out.h to userspace.
Some architectures have moved the asm/ into arch/ and some have not.
This patch checks for a.out.h and kvh.h in both places before exporting
the corresponding file from linux/

David S. Miller 7c19a3d280 net: Unbreak userspace usage of linux/mroute.h
Nothing in linux/pim.h should be exported to userspace.

This should fix the XORP build failure reported by
Jose Calhariz, the debain package maintainer.

Nothing originally in linux/mroute.h was exported to userspace
ever, but some of this stuff started to be when it was moved into
this new linux/pim.h, and that was wrong. If we didn't provide these
definitions for 10 years we can reasonably expect that applications
defined this stuff locally or used GLIBC headers providing the
protocol definitions. And as such the only result of this can
be conflict and userland build breakage.

David Woodhouse 5e6b83ed8c Fix header export of videodev2.h, ivtv.h, ivtvfb.h
The exported copy of videodev2.h contains this line:

	#define #include <sys/time.h>

This is because for some reason it defines __user for itself -- despite
the fact that we remove all instances of __user when exporting headers.
_All_ pointers in userspace are user pointers. Fix it by removing the
unnecessary '#define __user' from the file.

The new headers ivtv.h and ivtvfb.h would have the same problem... if
whoever put them there had actually remembered to add them to the Kbuild
file while he was at it. Fix those too, and export them as was
presumably intended.

Note that includes of <linux/compiler.h> are also stripped by the header
export process, so those don't need to be conditional.

Julius Volz bc4768eb08 ipvs: Move userspace definitions to include/linux/ip_vs.h
Current versions of ipvsadm include "/usr/src/linux/include/net/ip_vs.h"
directly. This file also contains kernel-only definitions. Normally, public
definitions should live in include/linux, so this patch moves the
definitions shared with userspace to a new file, "include/linux/ip_vs.h".

This also removes the unused NFC_IPVS_PROPERTY bitmask, which was once
used to point into skb->nfcache.

To make old ipvsadms still compile with this, the old header file includes
the new one.

Thanks to Dave Miller and Horms for noting/adding the missing Kbuild entry
for the new header file.

is there a reason why we dont export the virtio headers for

but I think it is still useful to heave these headers exported
as they might be useful for other userspace tools.

also not exported. See also my other mail about your "virtio:

Christoph Hellwig 15aebd2866 udf: move headers out include/linux/
There's really no reason to keep udf headers in include/linux as they're
not used by anything but fs/udf/.

This patch merges most of include/linux/udf_fs_i.h into fs/udf/udf_i.h,
include/linux/udf_fs_sb.h into fs/udf/udf_sb.h and
include/linux/udf_fs.h into fs/udf/udfdecl.h.

The only thing remaining in include/linux/ is a stub of udf_fs_i.h
defining the four user-visible udf ioctls. It's also moved from
unifdef-y to headers-y because it can be included unconditionally now.

Christian Borntraeger dd135ebbd2 kvm: provide kvm.h for all architecture: fixes headers_install
Currently include/linux/kvm.h is not considered by make headers_install,

commit fb56dbb31c
Author: Avi Kivity <avi@qumranet.com>
Date: Sun Dec 2 10:50:06 2007 +0200

KVM: Export include/linux/kvm.h only if $ARCH actually supports KVM

Currently, make headers_check barfs due to <asm/kvm.h>, which <linux/kvm.h>
includes, not existing. Rather than add a zillion <asm/kvm.h>s, export kvm.
only if the arch actually supports it.

    Signed-off-by: Avi Kivity <avi@qumranet.com>

which makes this an 2.6.25 regression.

One way of solving the issue is to enhance Kbuild, but Avi and David conviced
me, that changing headers_install is not the way to go. This patch changes
the definition for linux/kvm.h to unifdef-y.

If  unifdef-y is used for linux/kvm.h "make headers_check" will fail on all
architectures without asm/kvm.h. Therefore, this patch also provides
asm/kvm.h on all architectures.

Avi Kivity fb56dbb31c KVM: Export include/linux/kvm.h only if $ARCH actually supports KVM
Currently, make headers_check barfs due to <asm/kvm.h>, which <linux/kvm.h>
includes, not existing. Rather than add a zillion <asm/kvm.h>s, export kvm.h
only if the arch actually supports it.

Jerone Young 51e296258c KVM: Add ifdef in irqchip struct for x86 only structures
This patch fixes a small issue where sturctures:
	kvm_pic_state
	kvm_ioapic_state

are defined inside x86 specific code and may or may not
be defined in anyway for other architectures. The problem
caused is one cannot compile userspace apps (ex. libkvm)
for other archs since a size cannot be determined for these
structures.

David S. Miller 97ef1bb0c8 [TIPC]: Fix headercheck wrt. tipc_config.h
It wants string functions like memcpy() for inline
routines, and these define userland interfaces.

The only clean way to deal with this is to simply
put linux/string.h into unifdef-y and have it
include <string.h> when not-__KERNEL__.
