alloc failures use dump_stack so emitting an additional
out-of-memory message is an unnecessary duplication.
Remove the allocation failure messages.

module_param(bool) used to counter-intuitively take an int. In
fddd5201 (mid-2009) we allowed bool or int/unsigned int using a messy
trick.
It's time to remove the int/unsigned int option. For this version
it'll simply give a warning, but it'll break next kernel version.

This converts the drivers in drivers/net/* to use the
module_usb_driver() macro which makes the code smaller and a bit
simpler.
Added bonus is that it removes some unneeded kernel log messages about
drivers loading and/or unloading.

The pointer returned by cfg80211_inform_bss is a referenced
struct. The orinoco driver does not need to keep the struct, so
we just release it.

most of these drivers. But we want to clean that up. Call out the

Without CONFIG_HERMES_PRISM, only match cards that have "Version 01.01"
as the third product ID. Those have Agere firmware.
With CONFIG_HERMES_PRISM, match all 0x0156:0x0002 cards.

A lot of drivers erroneously use wext constants
and don't notice since cfg80211.h includes them.
Make this more split up so drivers needing wext
compatibility from cfg80211 need to explicitly
include that from cfg80211-wext.h.

On hardware busy the scan request pointer should be cleared, as higher
levels will release. This avoids a crash when that pointer is
erroneously used later.

Enable the port when disabling countermeasures, and disable it on
enabling countermeasures.
This bug causes the response of the system to certain attacks to be
ineffective.
It also prevents wpa_supplicant from getting scan results, as
wpa_supplicant disables countermeasures on startup - preventing the
hardware from scanning.
wpa_supplicant works with ap_mode=2 despite this bug because the commit
handler re-enables the port.
The log tends to look like:

In these situations, you are usually trying to connect to a new AP, so
keeping TKIP countermeasures active is confusing. This is already how
the driver behaves (inadvertently). However, querying SIOCGIWAUTH may
tell userspace that countermeasures are active when they aren't.
Clear the setting so that the reporting matches what the driver has
done..

The interrupt handler takes a lock - but since commit bcad6e80f3 this
lock goes through an indirection specified in the hermes_t structure.
We must therefore initialise the structure before setting up the
interrupt handler.

The card doesn't support MFP, so silently accept DISABLED and OPTIONAL
settings.
This avoids the following failure in wpa_supplicant logs:

What's worse than no comment? A wrong comment.
Several PCMCIA device drivers contained the same comments, which
were based on how the PCMCIA subsystem worked in the old days of 2.4.,
and which were originally part of a "dummy_cs" driver. These comments
no longer matched at all what is happening now, and therefore should
be removed.
